The port is located on the northern side of the Tasaul Lake 7 km far from Navodari Lock, The yearly traffic capacity is 6,5 million tons. The length of berths is 280 meters.

The permission for operating in the port could be obtained from the RoRIS ACN Regional Center by radio communication (channel 71 VHF). The port is specialized for loading raw materials for cement factory from Medgidia and iron scrap.
