Medgidia Port

Located at the km 37.5 on the right side of the Danube-Black Sea Canal, the port of Medgidia is equipped for a yearly traffic of 11,5 million tons. Services provided in the port are: fresh water and power supply.

Nautical and port operation information could be achieved from the RoRIS ACN Regional Center by radio using channel 71VHF. The port is provided with river station, general cargo warehouses and specialized berths. Railway and road connection is available here. Different agents for cargo and barge operations agreed by the Administration of the Navigable Canals act in the port.
