Năvodari Lock

Navodari lock is located on the Northern branch at km 1.5, near the Midia port. The lock has a strategic position at the end of the canal, joining the Danube river with the Midia port where is located one of the biggest refinery from the Eastern Europe. For RoRIS ACN Regional Center contact channel 71 VHF must be used. The maximum lockage time is 20 minutes. |
| There are light signals for entering and leaving the lock. Before entering the canal ships will have a health inspection. Rules regarding quarantine are compulsory for convoys and sea-river vessels, in the roads and harbor areas too. |  |
